π₯ Is Brno Worth Visiting Reddit
Other areas in the region worth a visit: Krakow Poland, central Slovenia if you like mountains, Cesky Krumlov is great for a day+night visit from Prague, Salzburg area if you wanna venture that far, or even Berlin which is just 4 hours north of Prague by bus/train. I've lived in Prague for a few years so I've enjoyed each of these places first
Brno has plenty of culture, but it really comes down to what you like - is it clubbing? Big celebrity concerts? Indie music? Dive bar punk? Car absolutely isn't a necessity. Given the current (and near future) state of Brno I'd say it's actually a liability.
Dining out is expensive, but takeaway options are available, or buy a baguette, some cheese and a banana, sit in the park or on the wharf and relax. I visited Monaco for all of 2 hours then got bored and felt poor and decided to carry on to Italy. Itβs a place where the elites go to have fun.
Walk along past Warehouse 30 and continue along the river and you will see large murals on the side of the walls, an alley with street art on one side and photos of the local people on the other side. I was walking through the small alleys where people live and saw more murals as well.
It is imperative. Now that you've had breakfast, go downtown and walk around. Grab a coffee at Zocalo and say hello to Sam, the owner. When you start feeling hungry again, head over to Paulies and get a bratwurst, or go to Burger Bob's and get the Cardiac Arrest. Make sure to check out the Rocky Mountain Rug Gallery.
Brunei is nice, but it's really small. BSB is closer to an hour or two than a day or two. There's a theme park about an hour out of town. If you're looking for a day trip, head down to Miri in Malaysia. It's a nice little town, alcohol is legal again, and the drive is nice. I see you are familiar with Malaysia, but Sarawak is a bit different
The last time I was in Brno was like 7 years ago. I suppose a lot of things have changed since then. What places should I visit this year to catch up with what's going on in Brno right now? Any new sights, clubs, cafes? I'll have my car with me so mabe there's something worth visiting around the city? I'll be greatful for your advice.
Most people who have visited Belgrade will tell you it is a very nice city to visit. It is safe and there are definitely worthwhile things to see; however, what you should see depends on what you like and what you're interested in. To add, some 'must-sees' would be different for every person. It might be one of the museums, or night life, or
OVERALL RISK: MEDIUM. In general, Darwin can be considered a safe city, but minor crimes happen here. Beware worth scammers and pickpocketers. Perhaps the greatest danger is brought by the wildlife of this region - dangerous crocodiles, poisonous snakes, and sweltering heat.
Stanley Park is pretty damn big and photogenic. For adventure you can go north to Capilano. For an even better trip, rent a car and drive up the Sea to Sky Highway. Absolutely beautiful! I would recommend Vancouver to anyone. Plenty of great restaurants, galleries, and outdoor stuff. Three nights would be a good idea.
Despite being some 130 kilometers southwest of Prague, the 13th-century town of Klatovy is well worth a visit. A highlight of this fortified old town is the 81-meter-tall Black Tower (Cerna vez), built in the mid-16th century at the height of the town's influence (it was an important place of trade and commerce).
